Background
Yayasan Aman was incorporated on 17 January 1983 as a company limited by guarantee under the name of Yayasan Aman Berhad. The word Berhad was dropped from its name on 19 August 1994 to facilitate its application for tax exempt status from the Inland Revenue Department.
Yayasan Aman is a charitable organisation aimed at promoting and enhancing the general level of education through the award of scholarship and providing assistance for medical and general welfare to needy Malaysians.
